JWCC 2009

The Junior World Chess Championship for visually impaired 2009 was held at Scandic hotel in Täby, Sweden, from 19:th to 25:th of June. The tournament was organized by the Swedish Chess Federation of Visually Impaired and main sponsor was Scandinavian Chess Tournament. 34 players from 16 nations took part in the tournament.

The winner was Daniel Pulvett from Venezuela with 6,0/7 followed by Stanislav Babarykin, Russia, Igor Khmelevskoy, Russia, and Markus Berggren, Sweden 5,5/7. JWCC 2009 for visually impaired
